Always read the card. Take the time to read and avoid what a group of Samoan travelers bound for Apia went through on our national carrier’s Monday flight from Auckland.
Samoa Airways traveling passengers, had to go through either the Business or Economy class to check-in at Auckland Airport.
The lines were clearly marked. Most were queued up in the business class with the line growing all the time.
Hardly anyone chose the economy class check-in. For some unknown reason, it felt like it was being avoided, yet the line was moving at the same pace as the other one.
A check-in officer suddenly appeared infront of the line and loudly asked for travellers on business class. All the others have to move over to the economy class check-in line.
Almost everyone moved. Loud angry complaints were heard. “Why didn’t they say so in the first place! We’ve wasted all that time standing on line only to be told about it now.”
See why it’s important to read the card? The notices were right there. They just had to read it.
