Unless our Manu boys can beat the living daylights out of Ireland in their final pool game this week, we’re out of the World Cup.
Our hopes of thrashing the Irish are slim but hey a chance, even if it is smaller than the eye of the needle, is better than none.
If not for that we would already be watching that rabbit cartoon character sign off ‘…uppity, uppity, uppity…that’s it folks.’
But it is encouraging to have visiting rugby icons like the Black Fern’s former captain from 2012-2018, Seiuli Ms. Fiaoo Fa’amausili, stand unwavering and firm on her loyalties to both the Manu Samoa and the All Blacks.
What a remarkable record she has achieved for herself with 4 Women’s World Cup rugby titles to her name.
On top of all her other special recognitions as a player and contribution to the community service, the woman is also a New Zealand police detective.
Hear that guys? She’s handy with handcuffs.
“….our boys in Japan need a long, loud cheer, let’s give it to them, dear.
