A widowed mother and her two grown up children shared a rare family blessing on Friday, by graduating together as students of the Apia Harvest Centre theology class this year.
Proud mother Makerita Loia and her two children daughter Terava and son Suetena celebrated as diploma graduates.
Makerita and Terava received Diplomas in Theology while Suetena was awarded with a Diploma in Ministry.
Thirteen students of the Apia Harvest Centre Bible College successfully completed their programmes of study and were awarded certificates last Friday evening.
The graduates were enrolled in the Certificate in Theology, Diploma in Theology, Diploma in Ministry and Bachelor of Arts in Theology.
A church leader and also Minister of Works Transport and Infrastructure, Papaliitele Niko Lee Hang, congratulated the graduates as the keynote speaker on the occasion.
Also present at the graduation was the Superintendent of the assemblies of God in Samoa Reverend Dr Tavita Pagalii who gave the Word and blessed the graduates. Speaking on the behalf of the graduates was Bachelor of Arts in Theology graduate Tagaloa Jerome Sapolu.
The Apia Harvest Centre Bible College is headed by Mrs. Shorley Mariner.
