The National Emergency Organising Committee, NEOC, took delivery this week of a container load of donations from New Zealand.
Emergency staff worked in the sun to sort out the contents of the container at the NEOC co-ordinating location in the centre of Apia.
The items were distributed immediately to the TTM Hospital and health centres where they are urgently needed.
The container arrived last week filled with hospital beds and mattresses, diapers, sanitisers and more.
Overseas donations have been arriving in steadily from mainly New Zealand to help out with the measles epidemic.
Many of the support have also been sent directly to families from relatives.
