Sarah Holsopple and Bryttani Lindheim from Tampa Florida enjoyed snorkeling at Palolo Deep during an all day stop by the Star Princess Cruise ship at the Matautu Wharf  yesterday.

The two are friends and  were excited to travel together on a journey from Los Angeles and did some activities together while in Samoa like exploring the marine life at the Palolo Deep.

Holsopple told Newsline that she enjoyed the entertainment put on for them  when the boat arrived as well as snorkeling at the Palolo Deep.

“I love the Palolo Deep we did some snorkeling there. The people were welcoming and were very friendly right from when we first arrived. People are so amazing and we had great fun while we were there.”

Equally excited was Lindheim.

“The first thing I love was the smile of the people. So friendly and it seems that they are very happy people and its amazing that they seem to embrace their culture. I love the coral so beautiful at this time of the year. We have been doing a lot of snorkeling in Caribbean and it is beautiful and we also experience it here in Samoa.”

Holsopple and Lindheim said they loved their experience in Samoa.

The Star Princess travelled from Los Angeles and made a stop at Hawaii, visiting four islands before heading to Samoa. It left Matautu wharf around 7:30pm last night and expected to travel to Pago pago before heading to Tahiti.

Star Princess arrived at 7am yesterday carrying 4215 passengers.
